EXPAL were present, one more year, at EUROSATORY with it’s vast and complete range of Defence products and services.
In this occasion, EXPAL showed technological solutions focusing on the maintenance and improvement of the operational capacities of the Armed forces. It will present its latest innovation on mortars:EIMOS, EXPAL mortar system integrated over a 4 x 4 light vehicle. EXPAL has been a pioneer, starting two years ago, this evolutionary line of weapon, responding to the most urgent fire support needs of current conflicts. EIMOS is a unique system that integrates the 81-mm EXPAL mortar in any 4x4 light vehicle, it´s the natural evolution of the mortar, the adaptation of a traditional weapon to the current technological situation.
TECHFIRE, the new digital system for mortar fire control applicable to 60, 80 and 120 mm caliber. TECHFIRE is a fire control system that allows mortar system to streamline any operation of this weapon maximizing their effectiveness, precision and control in the process of fire support. The system is configured to be used with any communication system.
This system has been developed by EXPACE subsidiary of EXPAL dedicated to technological innovation in embedded systems.
And one of its developments in the course, the 120 mm mortar guided bomb: GMG-120, that combines the performances of EXPAL mortar bombs with the accuracy and efficiency of the guided system, avoiding collateral damage, a must meet requirements that we understand all types of ammunition in the future.
