With EXPAL’s commercial office in Kuala Lumpur since 2011, the company provides its products and services for air, land and sea armies to a dozen countries in Asia and Oceania.
DSA (Defence Services Asia) is one of the most important exhibitions in the area and has 30 years of tradition in the defence sector. In this important event, that takes place in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) from April 16th to 19th, EXPAL highlights its wide range of products, systems and technological applications, as well as its maintenance and demilitarization services for the defence and security sector.EXPAL has a commercial office in Kuala Lumpur to coordinate all its activities in Asia and Oceania, providing direct support to the customers in this geographical area.
The company highlights in this edition its complete offer in mortar systems that includes calibers of 60, 81 and 120 mm; the 81 mm mortar system in a vehicle 4x4 of high mobility, EIMOS; the fire control system, TECHFIRE; the mini UAV SHEPHERD-Mil that acts as an advanced observer and eSIMOX, its mortar simulator. These systems and products are part of EXPAL’s solution for indirect fire support operations called "One-Stop Shop", which also includes maintenance and demilitarization services.
In addition to its solution for mortar systems, EXPAL has developed a complete offer of extended range field artillery ammunition for 105 mm and 155 mm calibers. This ammunition, in service in armies of the area, achieves ranges of up to 20 km and 40 km respectively in its base bleed version. The high-performance family includes the high explosive, visible illuminant, IR illuminant and RP multispectral smoke.
In addition, EXPAL provides to naval and armed forces ammunition suitable with the most important and modern air and naval platforms currently in service.
As part of its naval offer, the company shows in the event its latest developments such as 5” / 127 mm ammunition family that integrates the latest technologies in electronic fuzes, both time and proximity. These fuzes comply with NATO most demanding standards and its accuracy and reliability have been demonstrated in the most complicated radar environments. EXPAL also provides a complete underwater ammunition range, like GAB underwater grenade and MILA underwater Limpet Mine.
